It is GURU PURNIMA
in the 777 GATEWAY of Year no 7
and the Temple brings you ...
"A rare conversation between a GURU and his Adept
Swami Vivekananda
with
Guru Ramakrishna Paramahansa "
👉 Swami Vivekananda :- I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.
Ramakrishna Paramhansa:- Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.
👉 Swami Vivekananda :- Why has life become complicated now?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Stop analyzing life... It makes it complicated. Just live it.
👉 Swami Vivekananda:- Why are we then constantly unhappy?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.
👉 Swami Vivekananda:-Why do good people always suffer?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer.
With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- You mean to say such experience is useful?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons later.
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.
👉 Swami Vivekananda:- In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- What surprises you about people?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- When they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why me?"
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- How can I get the best out of life?
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.
👉 Swami Vivekanand:- One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
Ramkrishna Paramhansa:- There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live .
Any Person can make you realise how wonderful the world is..!
But only few will make you realise how wonderful you are in the world..!
Swami Vivekananda, a Yogi of the highest order, a Sanyasi, Mystic, or simply put, an intense form of life who just went on to motivate and bless the lives of others to reach their ultimate destination. Words really fall short to describe the aura of Swami. Swamiji is an experience which is beyond our senses and he is much more than what we have learned and perceived. Vivekananda, the bliss of Wisdom, is a phenomenon that this World has witnessed!
When we say Swami Vivekananda, there is always a mention of his Guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Sri Ramakrishna was a sheer enigma and an enchanting Guru. Naren (Vivekananda) going through the obstacles of life, finding no answers to his questions, suffering a restless state - happens to hear the name of "Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa" by the British Principal Hastie in one of his classes. Hastie referred to this priest of Dakshineshwar as an epitome of spiritual ecstasy ; Naren made no delay and rushed to Dakhineshwar to meet the saint.
Ramakrishna being a realized person understood the very purpose of Naren’s life and, it took him no time to realize the 'spiritual potential' of this lad. Ramakrishna crying with joy said to Naren that – "You made me wait for long. Finally, you are here!"
Naren and Ramakrishna were two different poles altogether! It was an intellect vs rationality, educated vs uneducated, wealthy vs poor, logic Vs heart and no God Vs God. Naren went on to ask bountiful of questions before accepting Ramakrishna as his Guru.
before awakening on realization
“They alone live, who live for others.”
– Swami Vivekananda
“Comfort is no test of truth. Truth is often far from being comfortable.”
– Swami Vivekananda
“Neither seek nor avoid, take what comes.”

"You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul."

What is the golden teaching of Vivekananda? “Learn everything that is Good from others but,
bring it in, and in your own way absorb it ...
do not become others!”
Swami Vivekananda propagated the idea of
Individuality.

Faith in GOD

The 2 Teachings of Swami Vivekananda
Annie Besant, who followed Madame Helena Blavatsky (staunch Blue Ray 1 soul (from Russia) who founded the Theosophical Society in India - along with Lord El Morya, Lord Kuthumi and Saint Germain), was the most prominent of the Western Theosophical leaders in India. She served as the head of the Theosophical Society from 1907 up to her death in in 1933. Of Irish origin, she was a visionary and social reformer, claimed clairvoyant powers, was a prolific author, charismatic speaker, and staunch proponent of women's rights.
Annie Besant was present at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1893 where Swami Vivekananda spoke, representing the Theosophical Society. She wrote about the event:
"A striking figure, clad in yellow and orange, shining like the Sun of India in the midst of the heavy atmosphere of Chicago, a Lion Head, piercing eyes, mobile lips, movements swift and abrupt - such was my first impression of Swami Vivekananda. All was subdued to the exquisite beauty of the spiritual message which he had brought, to the sublimity of that matchless "Truth" of the East which is the heart and the life of India, the wondrous teaching of the Self. Enraptured, the huge multitude hung upon his words; not a syllable must be lost, not a cadence missed!"
